There is so much going on in the world that if we focus on every tragedy, we will probably go crazy. The news already selectively informs us of so many terrible things happening in the world, and we’ve kind of gotten used to brushing it off and focusing on the things that affect us directly.
Memes and comics are the best way to turn something bad into something good. Laughing at things allows you to talk about them more casually while educating people about a particular topic. Mart Virkus is an Estonian visual artist who does this in a rather unique way: through his comics, he expresses his frustrations on various topics.
